China's timber imports in January-June 2012 detailed statistics and data analysis

China's log imports by the substantial growth in the past six consecutive months of negative growth this year. According to statistics, January-June, timber imports completed 18,907,000 cubic meters, down 8.88 percent over the same period last year, a decrease of 1.8435 million cubic meters over the same period last year, the growth rate decreased by nearly 34 percentage points over the previous year. Poor international situation of China's timber imports, completed log imports from Canada of 1.1781 million cubic meters, up to 3.35%, negative growth: Russia imported 5,863,800 cubic meters, down 18.38 percent over the same period last year, New Zealand imported 3.7599 million cubic meters, down 7.47 percent over the same period last year, 1.6789 million cubic meters, down 19.55 percent over the same period last year, New Guinea 1.448 million cubic meters, down 6.06 percent over the same period last year.
